From 1 to 4 July 2026, 31 Chinese and international volunteers joined the service operation for the 2026 Global Digital Economy Conference Industry Expo in Beijing, bringing multilingual communication and cross-cultural support into a major international event.
Four service groups responding to real needs
Roles were matched to venue operations, visitor flows and international communication needs. Volunteers handled visitor guidance, exhibition information and participant enquiries while also supporting international guests and multilingual communication in English, French and other languages.

During the expo, team leaders coordinated shifts and mobile support. Afterwards, role cards, evaluations, videos, certificates and appreciation letters were archived in each volunteer's growth record.
